06 · METHODOLOGY
Built on 8 dimensions of founder wiring.
Reckon's 70 questions measure 8 psychological dimensions grounded in the Big Five personality model, extended with Risk Tolerance, Locus of Control, and Need for Achievement. The forced-choice format eliminates the acquiescence bias that makes agree-disagree scales unreliable. Your score comes from the pattern of your choices, not from how you rate yourself.
The archetype assignment is not a label. It is the pattern that best fits your dimensional profile across all 8 axes. Two Visionaries will share the archetype name but differ on every dimension score. The report tells you both, and it tells you whether who you stated you were matches who your answers say you are. That gap, when it exists, is the most useful thing in the report.
